Kavanagh & Coates Funeral Services has continued to support a range of local organisations through its Community Assistance Programme in Heywood.
Recent funding awards were presented to four community groups delivering valuable support and opportunities within the local area, including projects focused on wellbeing, community facilities, support for young people and activities for families and children.
Among the organisations supported were Heady Hill Community Garden Project, 1st Heywood Scout Group, St Luke’s Church and Angelic Spirit Patsy, each carrying out important work to support and strengthen the local community.
Samantha Collier said: “We are proud to support organisations that are making such a positive difference locally. The Community Assistance Programme gives us the opportunity to help projects that bring people together, provide support and improve quality of life within the community.”
The programme forms part of Kavanagh & Coates’ ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots community initiatives and recognising the important work carried out by local groups and volunteers.
